Lamellae Window

A stained glass window inspired by the beautiful shapes and colors of mushrooms. The most precious art glass depicts a prism of colors: rich reds and iridescent cranberry, mottled ambers, streaky pink, textured plum, bright yellow, soft green and pops of blue and purple.  The cheerful design is almost abstract, a layering of sunburst shapes inspired by the underside of a cluster of mushrooms. The name "Lamellae" refers to the gills of a mushroom. 

The eight stained glass panes are glazed into an antique window sash. It is painted in a bright greenish blue color carefully selected to compliment the stained glass. Hooks for hanging cam be installed prior to shipping if desired.

The window measures 18" wide, 35" tall.
