Demilune Window - Galle Moth Robin's Egg Blue and White

This gorgeous window was inspired by two things: the half moon shape, traditional for special windows,  and the famous Art Nouveau work of the artist Emile Galle, specifically the incredible "Dawn and Dusk" bed. This piece was lovingly crafted with some of my favorite glass glass, a mottled white background, very special mouth-blown rondel glass for the striking body, the best shades of blue for the wings and two bright red pops for the "eye spots". I love this color combination of robin's egg blue and red!

The window measures 25.5" x 10.25" (65cm x 26cm). Two small loops along the top make for easy hanging, though it would also look amazing leaning on a window sill or on a shelf or fireplace mantle. I've tried to show it in different lighting, as the beauty in stained glass is the way it changes and shifts with the light.
