Demilune Window - Galle Moth Moss and Plum

This gorgeous window was inspired by two things: the half moon shape, traditional for special windows,  and the famous Art Nouveau work of the artist Emile Galle, specifically the incredible "Dawn and Dusk" bed. This piece was lovingly crafted with rich moody glass, a midnight plum background, very special mottled glass for the striking body, vibrant pink and orange details and mossy shades of green for the wings.

The window measures 25.5" x 10.25" (65cm x 26cm). Two small loops along the top make for easy hanging, though it would also look amazing leaning on a window sill or on a shelf or fireplace mantle. I've tried to show it in different lighting, as the beauty in stained glass is the way it changes and shifts with the light.
